Vladivostok City Administration

Vladivostok City Administration is the executive and administrative body of Vladivostok municipal government. It is authorized to handle municipal issues including social facilities and roads construction, public transport coordination, public educational institutions functioning, housing and utility services, public spaces arrangement, culture, sports and many others.

The administration is headed by the mayor of Vladivostok Konstantin Shestakov. The structure of the mayor's office includes 39 departments and four municipal agencies.

In its work, the Vladivostok City Administration is ruled by the Constitution of Russia, the Charter of the City of Vladivostok, the laws of the Russian Federation and Primorsky Territory, and legal acts issued by the Vladivostok Administration.


Konstantin Shestakov

Shestakov Konstantin Vladimirovich was born on September, 23 1982, in Vladivostok, Russia.

Graduated from the Far Eastern State University with a degree in World Economy in 2004. In 2013 graduated from the Far Eastern Federal University with a law degree.

Began his working life in 2004 in the field of tourism. 2005-2006 worked in Municipal Property, Urban Planning and Architecture Department of Vladivostok City Administration.

Since 2010 held jobs in the Government of Primorsky Territory. In 2014 became the Head of the Tourism Department of Primorsky Territory. In 2019 was appointed as acting Vice-Governor of Primorsky Territory. January 2020 - May 2021 was Vice-Chairman of the Government of Primorsky Territory (supervising economic development, industry and trade, land and property, forestry and fauna protection, tourism and international relations).

July 2021 was elected Mayor of Vladivostok.
