Vladimir Medinsky

Dear friends!

I am pleased to welcome you to the Eastern Economic Forum.

For the fourth time Vladivostok is hosting this great event, which is designed to contribute to solving one of the priority state tasks – the comprehensive development of the Far East.

The significant part of Russian cultural attractions, reserves and unique national parks is concentrated exactly in the Far Eastern Federal District. Nowadays a great deal of tourism projects is implemented here, new itineraries appear, and contemporary cultural institutions are opening. Such steps not only facilitate the economic development of the region but also perform an important role in strengthening the image of Russia abroad, present the cultural and natural heritage of the country to the youth.

I am sincerely convinced that the guests of the EEF will make a lot of discoveries, get unforgettable impressions from the cultural program of the Forum, establish some useful business and creative contacts. I wish you success, positive mood and all the best!
