We are delighted to welcome you
at the Street of the Far East!
Let us show you Russia's Far East. Let us tell you why we
love this land and why we are proud to live in Russia.
Demonstrating Far East is not easy: Its territory comprises
6.17 million sq. km. There are rivers and forests, cities and
villages, factories and farms, tigers and leopards; all in all,
123 animal species and 202 species of plants that are in
the Red Book of the Russian Federation.
In order to give you an idea about Far East in the course
of these two short days, we tried to present it at one
street – the queue of the Far Eastern Federal University.
Nine regions of the Russian Federation, over 40 ethnicities
constitute common history of one third of the biggest
country in the world. We are to show you the project for
oil production in the shelf area and the Vostochny Cosmodrome;
military helicopter that is produced in Primorye
and the unique nature of Kamchatka, diamonds of Yakutia
and gold nuggets from Magadan.
But the most important thing is that at every pavilion people
who live in Far East and love this land will welcome you.
We would like you to take part of this love with you!
